Storing gas grill: ABC

Some lucky living in climates where they can use their gas grills throughout the year, but if your Winter signals the end of this year coooking to you, it's time to consider how to store the grill.

Premium gas grill is a treasure to use, but may be something of an investment. If you need to make sure you get the most from your investment, you have to give this grill a little special care. But like most of things, if you go step by step, will be finished before you know.

A is for assembly

Assemble supplies. You will need soap and warm water in brass bristle brush, a soft cloth towel, a toothpick and some sandpaper, and owner'smanual. You need about one hour of work. Now go to …

B Is briquette

In fact B is for the briquettes and grids cooking. briquettes and cooking grills are becoming more daring with use, and certainly no computer should store fat. (Yuck.) Turn on more briquettes of the fat side up to second place. With the grill grates to its normal position, turn on the grill and close lid. Adjust flame all the "high" and let stand for 15 minutes, heat the fat burning briquettes and networks.

Once everything has cooled remove the briquettes and the networks and the use of brush and water soapy water to wash the remaining fat. Wash, dry, and put aside to be the next step.

C is for Clogs

Now need to clean the burner tubes due to the fact that if you are (or get) connected with the juice of food might shortout flame lighter. (And seriously do not want shortout pilot flame.) when the grill is in stock, spiders and insects to move both in the gas tubes (also known as Venturi). Between fat and fauna, Your grill can be difficult to initiate and / or have an irregular call, the next time you try to use, for all the positive elements of their own.

Pivot cup gasoline, if not already done so. Following the owner's manual, remove the burner, slide the gas pipes outside gas lines, and remove everything. Use a soft cloth and water soapy water to clean. Be as specific as possible and try not to miss any dirt or grease buildup behind. all dry and use the toothpick to unclog and clean gas ports. Clean the pipe with soap and water gas as well and it all aside.

D Is for damage

Pity we're going to try to reduce risk, ie. Before you begin cleaning the network, which may help prevent fat accumulation and trapping of corrosion before that develops, cover the gas ports with aluminum foil to prevent water going to use the brush and water to wash the inside of the grill and out. Rinse the housing dry with a towel and remove the sheet you wear.

Now is the time to check out the paint on the grill all the chips or damage. A large number of networks will not rust but if the paint is peeling, moisture may adopt, to weaken them. Thus, when the grill has cooled and dried, it is time to end this corrupted by any polished you find that you have found a white and bright. Then, using a primer and a high temperature paint, refinishing parts sand.

E is for everyone

Put everything – burner tubes, gas, lighter – back together.

F is for fuel

Check the fuel to make sure that propane tanks are not dented or rusted. If so, you should be replaced immediately.

G is for Good Night, Grill

Exactly where it will "put the rack in the bed?" A fixed grid Outside, of course, stay where you are and you can keep the propane tank in its usual place and connected. You want to put a protective cover on the grill. If you store home grill in the winter season, it is necessary to disconnect the propane tank and let it stand.

Check your manual on the correct way to disconnect the tank. plastic tape over the openings of the gas line network to keep the bugs and keep the tank in a cool shade and away from the kiln vents and clothing and children's play areas for pets. Never hold the container in a closed room, like your house, basement or garage.

H is for Happy

What is going to be in spring when suddenly wants to start the grill and gas grill ready for use.
